EXPLOSION VENTING DEVICE , Diaphram circular convex design type MD
Design
The explosion venting (protective) device " MD 450 - MD 1000 " with conventional doomed diaphragm is produced in accordance with standard ČSN EN14797 and supplementary standards. The protective device forms complete unit and consists of standard flange (1), conventional doomed diaphragm (3) and support (2) with bursting (protective) element (10), which is a determinative component for adjustment of bursting pressure value (static activating pressure) and hold a diaphragm (3) with gaskets (11) on contact surface create by wall of equipment (vessel) and the flange. Tethering element (5) secures the diaphragm not to be flying off. The device can be supplemented with thermal insulation by request.

Assembly
Requirements of ČSN EN 14797 and ČSN EN 14491 shall be kept during assembly of device. Must be consider a fact during a using , that the diaphragm shall not be in service covered in dust and dust shall not to embed in vicinity of diaphragm Install the device on a flat sealing surface or on the counter-flange of the same size using a number of screws given by the flange diameter. The contact sealing surface of the flange or wall should be smooth, flat and there should not be any signs of deformation, stamp or other damage on it. It must be stiff enough to catch force changes induced by the retaining element in case of an incidental explosion. To prevent deformation of the diaphragm sealing surface, you are not allowed to use rubber or other sealing materials for sealing the flanged connection as they could deform the flange during its tightening and so tightness of the diaphragm itself could be disturbed. Silicon sealant is used under the flanged connection or frame (4) having appropriate thermal endurance such as LUKOPREN- S 9780/ -50 to 200 °C.

Rozměry připojovacích standardních lehkých vzduchotechnických přírub vyráběných podle ČSN 12 0505 jsou uvedeny v tabulce rozměrů na zvláštním listu a jsou shodné s připojovacími rozměry zařízení typu "D".

Výrobek je pojištěn. Výrobce poskytuje záruku na výrobek po dobu jeho životnosti za podmínky provádění pravidelných revizí servisem výrobce v termínech podle druhu expozice výrobku.
