Flame Arresters
Flame arresters are designed to protect industrial technologies against fire or explosion. They are fitted onto devices, containers, tanks and pipelines in which gasses and vapours are stored, transported or ventilated. They are installed in a system so that in a case of medium fire in one area the arresters separate this area from a protected part. The protected part can be a continuing pipeline, tankers or other technologies, or on an ending pipeline surrounding atmosphere.
The flame arrester is made up from a flame arrester element and reduction flanges that form a housing of the flame arrester. The whole flame arrester element is manufactured from stainless steel and it consists of lamellas which are unseparable from their frame. The flame arrester housing of the flame arrester is produced from construction steel or if required from stainless steel. The flame arrester is installed onto a technology by means of standard quality flanges with PN 6 to PN 16 according to a design of the arrester (DN 25 contains a screw joint). Flame arrester type have been certified by authorised state testing institute AO 210, FTZÚ Ostrava - Radvanice. Declaration of conformity pursuant to European Regulation 94/9/EC (ATEX – mark is used in the identification number of the certificate) is delivered with product.
Special requirements of users
We can proof our possibility to react to special requirements of the users. This way was developed i.e. flame arrester for pharmacy industry, and special flame arresters for gas engines, vacuum pumps and haulage locomotives.
